Free multiplayer card games online: Cambio, Cabo and Kaboo

Want a card game you can play online with several friends at once, for free and without everyone installing an app? Rafiki is a multiplayer memory card game for 2 to 6 players that runs in the browser, and it can play the house rules of Cambio, Cabo and Kaboo too.

Play free now: a table against the computer in seconds, no sign-up

How to start a multiplayer game

1. Open playrafiki.com/play and create a room.
2. Send your friends the room code or the invite link, on WhatsApp or wherever you chat.
3. They join with just a name. Up to 6 players sit at one table, and computer players can fill any empty seats.
4. The game deals, keeps the timer and adds up the scores, so nobody has to.

The rules in one minute

• Everyone gets 4 cards face down and peeks at two of them. Lowest total wins.
• On your turn, draw a card. Swap it for one of yours, or discard it.
• Discarded power cards: 7 or 8 peek at your own card, 9 or 10 spy on someone else's, Jack, Queen or black King swap blind with anyone.
• Slam: when a card lands on the pile, anyone can throw a matching card from any hand. Get it wrong and you take a penalty card.
• Think you're lowest? Call RAFIKI. Everyone else has one more turn, then all cards are turned over.

Red Kings and Jokers are worth -1, Aces 1, number cards their value, and Jacks, Queens and black Kings 10. The full rules, with a short video, are on How to play.

Play your group's house rules

Grew up with a different version? Pick a rule set when you create the room and everyone plays the same way:

Not everyone free at the same time?

Daily Rafiki deals the same cards to everyone each day. Play your round against two computer players, share your score, and see how your friends get on with the same deal. After any game you can also send a challenge link: your friend plays the exact same deal and tries to beat your score.
